Flex System

Flex System at a Glance

With CyberLock and the Flex System you can create one unified security platform to track and control access to doors, locks, cabinets, and more. CyberAudit management software allows for concurrent management of a CyberLock key-centric and a Flex System lock-centric solution.Start with a Flex System Hub, add weatherized CyberKey Vault modules, and choose an input module like a Flex System RFID reader that fits your workflow process. Install the CyberKey Vault modules and input devices at a location convenient for the user, such as at a remote gate. When access to a lock is required, an individual presents an authorized RFID card.

Flexible

The heart of the system is built around the Flex System Hub access controller which provides connections for, and power to, weatherized modules that can be mixed and matched to fit your access control needs.

Expandable

A wide variety of other security devices such as HID readers, request-to-exit devices, alarms, door sensors, and more can be added to the Flex System through the Door Controller & I/O module.

Compatible

The Flex System is managed by CyberAudit management software, the same platform behind the award-winning CyberLock access control system composed of electronic lock cylinders and programmable smart keys

Opening New Doors

The Flex System Door & I/O module supports lock-centric access control systems that utilize prox card readers to open doors. It also enables the integration of a variety of security elements including remote alarms, sensors and lights, security cameras, biometrics, and more.

Take It Outside

The original Flex System modules include weatherized key safes and input modules that are engineered to perform in the most challenging outdoor conditions. These all-weather individual key safes allow you to store, program, and access CyberKeys where needed – on site.

Biometrics

Start with a Flex System Hub, add a Door & I/O module, and plug in any 26-bit Wiegand compatible interface device including thumb readers and facial recognition devices. Drive the desired action, such as opening a door or accessing a CyberKey from a weatherized vault, through the biometric device.

Yes, the electronics are sealed for installation indoors and out. CyberLock cylinders are designed to operate in a variety of environments.

No, CyberLock cylinders fit into the lock hardware just the same as the mechanical cylinders they replace. The lock hardware will operate in the same fashion as before the CyberLock cylinder was installed.

No, with CyberLock the need to re-key is eliminated. Locks can be “electronically re-keyed” in the field to provide immediate response to lost/stolen keys. For additional security, keys can be set to expire regularly, limiting the exposure of a lost key

In less than a second, the lock and key synchronize: they exchange unique IDs, compare access codes, validate the list of authorized locks, confirm the current time is within the authorized window, and ensure the key is not on the lock’s list of lost keys. If everything is validated, the lock will open.

If programmed as a standard user key, it can access up to 3,300 locks. If programmed as a master key, it can access all of the locks in the database.

Yes, records can be removed from the database and stored in a separate file.

Yes, all versions of the software are accessible through a standard web browser, including smart phones and tablets.
